The Old Time Jammers

"Tracing the Roots of Traditional Americana Music"

Sunday, July 12, 3:00 p.m.
Spanish River Library

The Old Time Jammers! It's not a band name. It's a state of mind! Before Rock and Roll, before the Blues and yes, even before Bluegrass, there was Old Time Music. That’s what the Old Time Jammers play! Their play list would be familiar to all who love Americana, traditional, and bluegrass music. Most of what they play has Celtic roots influenced heavily by folks in the Appalachian Mountain region, but they color outside the lines a little, too. The Old Time Jammers play by invitation for Historical Societies, local town events, the Florida State Fair and in support of their favorite music style at any opportunity. The Jammers also play on the local bluegrass festival circuit and they appear monthly at the Bluegrass Jamboree, hosted by The South Florida Bluegrass Association in Greynolds Park, Miami. Come and learn first hand a bit of our American musical history!

Free admission, but seating is limited!
