The Friends of the Boca Raton Library
have been working hard for your Library!

In August & September we were instrumental in galvanizing support for a new library on the Causeway Lumber site, ensuring continuous library services to the Downtown community during construction.

On September 12 we opened a Used Book Store to raise funds to support our mission.
We have great bargains at the store!

And...WE'RE MOVING!!

We are moving the Friends' Used Bookstore to the 2nd floor of the Downtown Library!

Our last day of business at 374 E. Palmetto Park Rd. will be Wednesday, April 30th.

Did you realize...

that your Friend's membership sponsors and supports the Sunday Speaker Series, the Sunday Matineé Music Series, the Book Clubs, and the Children's, Tween and Teen's reading programs?

During last summer's reading event, more than 1,500 children participated and 15,200 book were read during June and July! Five hundred teens and tweens took part in Friends-supported events and read more than 1,500 books.

You too can help the Library serve our community. Print the Membership Application and mail it with your check, or drop them off at the front desk of the Library.

Let us keep you posted on Friend's activities! Sign up for our Newsletter by providing your email address. We will add you to our mailing list and you can be assured that we will not share our list with any other organization!

If you have an interest in helping our Library fulfill its mission, consider joining a Friends of the Library working committee. Please call (561) 367-9088 for information.

Help build our FUTURE. The opening of the Spanish River Library will enable us to provide services to a wider community. Design is underway for the new Downtown Library and construction will begin soon!
